Michael and Denice Hawes are the proud owners of the original Darkside Brick Oven Pizza Co.
To create something truly original, we go back to our childhood roots. Being raised in the late 70’s and 80’s was a time where you would see kids riding bikes, we played with cool toys. Drinking out of a water hose without a care in the world. Knowing when the streetlight came on it was time to go home. The music and movies were original. Hanging out in the arcade in the mall or in the food court having a big slice of pizza with your friends, showing off your new pairs of jordache jeans or parachute pants.
There will simply never be times like that again. The concept behind Darkside was to take our patrons back in time and have a fantastic dining experience.
From the architectural design to the individually commissioned props and replicas which were specifically built for Darkside by various artists all over the world.
The quality of the food had to be equally important. We have researched and traveled all over the US taste testing the variety of different pizzas and the ovens they are cooked in. The end result is having one of the best pizzas cooked for you, our customers.
